Sony PSP Go! Sneak Pics (A First Look At PSP Go!)
Posted on 22:25 by Unknown
PSP Go! It looks awesome with the slider capability. As I hear the PSP Go! will not replace the PSP 3000. You can still buy PSP 3000 for the use of UMDs. PSP Go! however is UMDless (does not have a UMD drive). What do you guys think?

PSP Games And Media Update #3
Posted on 23:04 by Unknown
If you come here often you then have seen my blog is a little different.... something is missing... what could it be.... If you guess the adsense ads on my page disappeared, then you are right.
Apparently I have not comply with adsense policies and now they have removed my ads noooooooooooo..... :c I did not mean for that to happen. I am now trying to comply with adsense policy to get my ads back. I miss them very much, even though if has been only a day or so.
Another topic I want to talk about is the "downloading links" I am not in anyway hosting any downloadable links of PSP games in here. I guess people complain much and I just want to be on the safe side. Yea, I have being criticized because of it, and although at firt I actually did not care, I can see, how my reputation went down the drain. So I am really sorry for ever posting such links here, and want to say sorry to those who came to my site for THAT only reason. I did not in any way mean to mislead anybody. From now on I want to do things right!
I thank you all for understanding me and for the support you have given me by commenting, voting, clicking, reading my posts, and just visiting PSP Games And Media. God bless you all and thanks for stopping by. :z

PSP Go!? To Be Announced At E3
Posted on 22:32 by Unknown
This is getting interesting... The next E3 is just a week away from now and there everyone will officially know more details about the very rumored PSP Go! I guess including the official date release, and more specs.
Sources say that the PSP Go! will actually be cheaper than our very regular PSP. One big and probably only factor is because the PSP Go! does NOT have UMD drive. It kinda makes sense since there is less hardware production on the unit, but will it be replaced by another cool feature, and actually be about the same price as a regular PSP?
I will gladly love the PSP Go!, but what of those people who have spent a little fortune on their PSP's UMDs? maybe having to upgrade to another PSP would seem like starting over a new hanheld game device, instead of feeling just welcome and being able to play their UMD's on their new machine. Well, I am just saying.... it just crossed my mind... but, who cares if they already have a PSP that plays UMDs right?
It seems so sudden, now that it has not been that long since the PSP 3000 was launched and now, probably less than a year later another PSP is on our way. Sony is really being active this year on their PSP and God only knows what is next. But I guess if they have the money for the production, then... why not.. huh? What do you guys think?

Posted on 20:26 by Unknown
Hunt alone and you will probably die. Now, if you hunt together you have a chance at victory! This trailer looks awesome and really gives the rules of gameplay if you want to survive. These monsters do not seem to be joking around! and not to be taken lightly, really they look very tough and 20 or 30 times bigger than a regular human. Can't wait till I get my hands on this great game. From Capcom Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is to be released in North America On June 2009.

About PSP Video Converting Software
Posted on 23:18 by Unknown
Apart from playing games on my PSP I do enjoy watching videos on my PSP once in a while. Just some anime episodes or some funny clips will be good to play around my friends and have a laugh. Where do I get videos to watch? You may be asking? Well they are really all over the place. But I will have to say that YouTube.com has really a large library of videos and so that is really where I usually download most the ones I watch.
For those who might not know and have custom firmware installed in their PSP, there is a homebrew application called PSP Tube. Which is really great for downloading videos from YouTube and other video sites. All you need after you install this application is a good memory stick that will hold the space needed for the downloads and an internet connection via Wi-fi.
If you do not have a PSP with custom firmware then your best option is to convert the videos so the PSP will be able to play them. PSP only plays MP4s and I think WMA files, (there might be others I do not know just yet) but MP4s are best. I downloaded this software called "PSP Video 9" it is absolutely free software. You can click on the link and download it. It is easy to use and I recommend it to all. So have fun watching your favorite video on your PSP.

Buy And Download Music At Playstation Network Store Via PSP
Posted on 12:48 by Unknown
Just a rumor for now, I have had the word that this could very well be reality and that Sony would incorporate music downloading to our great portable device, yes, the PSP. How long might this take I wonder. I personally would not be surprised it would mean more money to Sony of course and I think It is really something I would be interested too! and also all depending on cost per song. Well, we will have to wait and see how this develops... I will follow more on this and keep you posted.

PSP Now Targeting The Younger Crowd
Posted on 17:16 by Unknown
Sony Europe is said to be targeting the younger crowd now. Is it really the first time Sony has tried to reach kids now? I wonder, and if so, then those PSP shaped candies a while back did not turn out so great. Oh-o :o
How are they targeting children you may ask? The launch of the new site pspinyourhands.com should give you an idea. Well, in short, it is a site in where you can you can register, share your pictures and then displays them in a 3d environment (very cool actually). Of course you can share with other members. There other types of activities too.
pspinyourhands.com looks and sounds to me like a little social network site, with a PSP brand. If you visit the site, then you will see the beta phase logo at the top left corner, which probably means that this could very well flop at some point. And in my opinion I think it doesn't matter if they really succeed with this site or not. I am really not for the idea of PSP targeting little kids, I mean that is what the DSi is for, right? Maybe I am being a little selfish, and I know the PSP market will grow even more in the next coming months, now with the PSP Go on its way this year even without pspinyourhands.com site :z

Rock Band Unplugged For PSP: Playing Some Of My Favorite Songs (Videos)
Posted on 11:40 by Unknown
All the songs are at medium level. Hard, and expert level are still difficult for me. I choose medium cause I decrease the mistake level and the song sound does not break much. Yea... I know some might think I should speed up things a little and play the harder levels as some are really good playing the harder levels. I am still kinda new at this game and know that I suck playing compared to some hardcore players. But anyway, here are some of my favorite Rock Band Unplugged tunes...
Everlong from the Foo Fighters... Now this is my favorite band of all time... I love everlong and so I wanted to perform good here. I really got lucky.. I hit all phrases and got 100% on solos... rock on!!!
Alive from Pear Jam... Here I did really good hiting all the phrases, but I really messed up on much doing the solo at the end. Its long and kinda hard... I guess I need more practice to get 100%. I will play it more cause I just love this song!!
Today by the Smashing Pumpkins... I love this song! and here is somewhat easy to get 100% on all phrases.
Chop Suey by System Of A Down... Even on medium level it is hard. But, great song by the very talented Serge!
Mr. Brightside by The Killers... I guess I heard it much on the radio, maybe that is why I came to like it much. Now I love this song! I almost got 100%... Maybe next time...
Well, that is all for now! I like almost all songs in Rock Band Unplugged, but can not do a video of them all, because it would be too repetive. If you havent already I also recorded me playing Float On by Modest Mouse on my Rock Band Review page here! Thank you all for the visits and till next time, have a good day, and please comment if you wish! :D

Brave: A Warriors's Tale Debut Trailer Looks Great And Primitive Too
Posted on 21:26 by Unknown
Lol! That is weird! At the end of the video I do not see the Playstation Logo anywhere!! did I miss it, or something? Well, I am sure the PSP is getting this game too, but I thought by this time it would already be out. Nice Trailer... I love it! :D
Rock Band Unplugged For PSP Gameplay Playing Float On From Modest Mouse
Posted on 17:21 by Unknown
I got to say this game ROCKS!! Yea, and the main reasons I love Rock Band Unplugged is that it carries much of my favorite music, including Modest Mouse (seen on the video) Jimmy Eat World, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, The Police, The Smashing Pumpkins, and much more. Plus the solo performances are amazing, and great feature of the game.
Now onto gameplay: The controls are really good and simple... just the way i like it. You have to control the bass, drums, vocals and guitar, but not at same time... taking turns. You can also choose your difficulty level: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. I am still new to this game and need more practice, I do average 4 stars on most of the songs I have played so far on medium level.
Rock Band Unplugged is really addictive. If you pick up this game, and you are knew to these type of music games, I suggest you go to the tutorial first. It will help you much on getting the hang of the game. Then later you can play the Tour game which is where you will unlock much cool stuff, like cities on where to perform, gigs, songs, staff members, earn money, fans and more. The other cool thing about this game is that you can create your own band. Yea, a group of four people playing the mentioned instruments. You can pick the logo of the band, where it is originated, name of band, and more...
I do recommend this game for everyone who enjoys listening to great rock music and enjoys playing video games its a great cross!! It kinda reminded me of Guitar Way To Heaven 4 for the PSP, except this game is much more neat. really!! What do you guys think? Please leave a comment regarding Rock Band Unplugged for the PSP! Thank you :D

Sega Classic Lunar: The Silver Star Makes Its Way To The PSP
Posted on 15:43 by Unknown
Was quite long ago since I played this Sega classic, but I did not play the "Sega CD" version, I got to play it on my "Playstation One" console. It was quite good, and I guess back then the animated cut-scenes in between gameplay were really big...Well maybe up till today too.
Now, I have just received information "Lunar: The Silver Star" will be heading for the PSP. Word is that it will be an enhance version, with more new scenarios from before. I still yet have not seen when or if this will make it to the U.S., Europe or Australia, but definitely Japan will probably get it by sometime this year (2009). It is yet to be announced. Lunar: The Silver Star is published by Working Designs, and developed by Game arts.
Personally, I think this Lunar: The Silver Star was a good game to play maybe more or less than a decade ago, It is maybe good to remind us about the story, and re-live the good times we had playing the game. Much like Star Ocean: Second Evolution. Even though I played it years back... It was interesting playing it again, and kinda reminded me of how the story unfolded. Maybe the same kinda experience will make Lunar: The Silver Star a great PSP game pick.

Tekken 6 For The PSP, Long Awaited Game!
Posted on 12:23 by Unknown
Wow, Just Found out this today: Tekken 6 for the PSP is heading this way (North America and the whole world) by 2009, 3rd quarter. Not official date as of yet. Without a doubt Tekken Dark Resurrection is still one of the biggest fighting games I have ever played. What is so cool about it? the character design, the beautiful background renderings, the combos, the controls, the story lines, the gameplay, and much more... That makes Tekken 6 a very hot game to say the least. I expect the same as Dark Resurrection, but more enhanced, with a large new characters list, and brand new stories. :D
As far as 2d fighting games, all the Street Fighter series are the best, in my book, but when it comes to 3d fighting game: Tekken is king!
Now it is said that that this new PSP version of Tekken 6, will have the largest character list from the other previous Tekkens. Plus the PSP will have additional features the home consoles do not have. Read more about it here!!!
Tekken 6 is published by Namco Bandai and developed by Namco. I will keep up with this game and bring you much more news when I find out more...

Qruton (Numblast) New Game On Japan Announced For PSP And PS3 Trailer
Posted on 20:17 by Unknown
Seems Qruton will have the name of Numblast when it comes to North America. That is what I am assuming though. I have always have been a fan of puzzle games like Qruton. And It kinda reminds me of Ultimate Block Party for PSP except this is with number, and color blocks and not just colors and shapes. But, I won't really know until I get the chance to play the English version.
Looking at the video looks simple enough to create one big chain and win the whole grid, it definitely looks fun, and entertaining...
Star Wars: The Clone Wars:Republic Heroes Debut Trailer

Not into the whole Star Wars game titles but seems good enough to buy, although some say it looks good enough just right about until gameplay, then it looks childish.... I will have to disagree, it also looks awesome!!!!
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes is schedule for release in North America on September 15, 2009 (as video shows) and it will be available for the following consoles: PC, PlayStation 2, Sony PSP, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360.

Soul Calibur Broken Destiny PSP Trailer Looks Like Excellent Fighting Game
Posted on 23:24 by Unknown
I got to admit I have not played all of the Soul Calibur series, I did play some on my PS2 and really do love it! Especially the character design. Everyone has their own unique style of fighting, weapon, clothes, etc. I can fall in love with all the girls here, so sexy, yet dangerous carrying swords, and other lethal weapons.
I am glad Soul Calibur Broken Destiny is exclusively for the PSP. That makes the PSP popular too, carrying top notch games like this. Plus this is the first release of Soul Calibur on the PSP. Soul Calibur Broken Destiny is published by Namco Bandai, and developed by Project Soul.
I guess the only bad thing I found on this game, but I might be wrong is the character count of 9 total characters. I wish there were more... or maybe there are but have trusted ING information. Or perhaps these are beginning character count and reveal more as you play the game a little more...
As for the release date, Soul Calibur Broken Destiny is expected to be in North America on the 3rd quarter 2009. September 30, 2009 to be exact. Lets just hope they do not pospone it. Because I really want to get my hands on this game soon.
Holy Invasion Of Privacy. Badman: What Did I Do To Deserve This? Debut Trailer
Posted on 22:40 by Unknown
Holy Invasion Of Privacy is a simulation game, but looks more like strategy game to me, where you take the part of the bad guy, as the god of destruction. Goal is to make your dungeon as difficult possible for the human heroes who fight for good. This game is rated "T" for Teen, because of mild language, animated blood and mild animated violence. It is published by NIS, and developed by Acquire
Looking at the trailer seems there are many factors to Holy Invasion. And what really seems attractive to me is that the roles are turned in this game, meaning you are not the good guy here, instead you are evil, fighting the heroes.
Definitely a PSP exclusive, because I haven't heard of any other console getting this game. We'll see how this works out when it comes out on the US. Expected to be released on July, 14, 2009. So mark up your calendars everyone. Thank you all for the visits. :D

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen the game is schedule to be released on June 23rd, 2009, just a day before the movie hits the theaters. Pangya Fantasy Golf Debut Trailer Looks Awesome!!
Posted on 15:59 by Unknown
Amazing video, don't you think? What is really attractive to me about Pangya Fantasy Golf is the characters and great RPG looking style. Even though it is not an RPG game, its a sports game. Honestly, I would never be interested in playing golf in real life, because it seems boring to me, but Pangy Fantasy Golf seems different, much like Everybody's Golf which I came to like very much...
Pangy Fantasy Golf is schedule to come to the US on June 2009 as the video says. hopefully it will follow through. What do you guys thik?

So here is my list again from left to right, top to bottom:

What Happened To Your PSP's Analog Stick?
Posted on 15:45 by Unknown
Did it brake? Did you spill some kind of sticky liquid on it and does not work now? Did it just stop working good? Well, Its bound to happen to someone that their PSP analog stick breaks I guess. Toys, expensive gadgets like the PSP is not the exception
The good thing, is that you can fix the problem by sending it to repair...There are lots of places you can check that do this service. Replacing the analog stick might not be something you dare do yourself, because it might be too complicated to open up the PSP to do the installation yourself. Although I know many gamers that are very techy that way... but not all though and this also includes me. I would rather send it to repair like I once did when my PSP got bricked.
Now there might be places around where you live that do PSP repairs, and I would suggest THAT is the first thing to look for. Why because you are prompt to have results and you are dealing with the one who is going to do the job for you face to face, instead of sending it somewhere you searched on the internet, and might take days or weeks before you get good results. If no, then check places on the internet, as second option...maybe do a Google search typing "PSP repairs" or "PSP analog stick repair". or something the like. I am sure you are going to find good results. But your work does not stop there, make sure to do some type research on the company you are dealing with and find out how they will solve your broken PPS analog stick, or other problem.
If you are just looking for the PSP analog stick replacement you can Find It Here For Really Cheap
I hope this has been helpful! have a nice day, and thank you so much for the visits :D

Another PSP 3000 Hacked Video
Posted on 01:37 by Unknown
I am amazed on how many people want to upload videos in which they show that the PSP 3000 is finally hacked. And I can honestly say... I really have doubts about it, but do not discard the possibility of the authenticity of the video showed here.
This PSP supposedly goes into homebrew mode via tiff exploit. Maybe it is a new beginning for PSP 3000 to have CFW, but certainly something we can all expect in the not so far future. Look at the "System Software" at minute 1:19... Does that say "5.03 Chick Hen" or something.... looks kinda blurry even on HQ. :r
Any doubters? Complain to the owner of the video... but, if I had not seen so many fake videos I would give 100% credibility to this video. What do you guys think? Fake or Legit? Please comment-reply

PSP Mods: Integrating A Mouse To The PSP
Posted on 14:29 by Unknown
Integrating a mouse to the PSP: I personally did not consider or had ever the thought of the need to integrate a computer mouse to the PSP. Looking at this video however, makes me think that it would actually be very handy for 1st person shooter games like that being played here. And I think it would also be good for certain PSP applications such as PSPaint, or browsing the web.
Mounting The PSP To The Car
Posted on 13:35 by Unknown
Funny how this guy shows how it works on minute 2:19...WTF!! licking the suction cup thingy!!!... hehe. :D Does it say on the instruction manual to do that??? he he! Well, I can not say that I am better when it comes to gadgets like this either. I really do hate and kinda do not bother reading the instructions. I just try to figure things out for myself, so I would have probably done the same, but not on camera. he he :D
Now, I was looking for this great PSP stand on amazon.com since they really have a bunch of cool stuff... I had no luck... but I did find something similar that I think would work just as good. Here it is:
It is called the "Cobra Car Stand" As said before It also works on tables and windows. bendable shape to make it to your liking to watch UMD movies, Videos, etc... but take in mind as the person on the video suggests not to be watching anything on the PSP while you are the driver.... or else...CRASH!!! oh-oh. But passengers are OK!! :D

The Bible+ On The PSP
Posted on 21:16 by Unknown
I came across the bible on the PSP while doing my everyday thing online, was searching for something, I forgot what it was, but then I saw it on here: http://www.pspcoder.net/goodbookr/
I said to myself this would be great for Christians or just people who study the bible in general. It has a word search engine inside and so finding any type of content on it is really a good feature. Plus you can also change the text size, rotate text as orientation desired, and much more cool stuff.
Cid The Dummy PSP Gameplay And Review
Posted on 20:38 by Unknown
Cid The Dummy for the PSP is a great action platform game. And to be honest, even though I did not see any trailers or screen shots or preview articles about it, I was over 70 percent sure, It was not going to be any good, much less take the time to talk about it. Boy was I ever wrong!!! This game is really good, I am enjoying it much.
What I like about this game, is how well you are explained to playing during tutorial (now who needs a boring instructions manual to read), you get hands-training from start, but it is really up to you if you want to skip it. For me, I was for it, and you can see it on my video below.
There are lots of functions for Cid such as running, climbing, stealth walking, fighting, and much more. He's not just crashing inside cars anymore :D ... I really do find the voice of the profesor very funny hahaha :r and If you follow the story, I am sure you will like it as well.

PSP With A Touch Screen Mod? Vs DS
Posted on 13:29 by Unknown
Looking at this video, I am not sure I would like to see the next generation of PSP to have a touch screen feature to tell the truth. If this was true, it would seem to me that Sony would be following the Nintendo DS, in technology. When in fact it should be the other way around. Nothing compares the supreme graphics of the PSP, and besides that; the media features are excellent on the PSP, and it is as of this time better than the DSi on many aspects in my opinion.
Many would disagree PSP is better than DS, because of the sales statistics. I am certain the PSP is rising even more everyday to that,; as recent sales in Japan have shown a greater sales percentage of the PSP more than any other handheld and home consoles. And with the new PSP Go! (expected to hitting the stores late this year, 2009 in Japan and North America) it will be more than obvious which is the better handheld.

New PSP Era: PSP Go And Memory Stick HG Micro
Posted on 13:04 by Unknown
Mind before reading this article, this falls under the rumor category. It is not "official" to my knowledge, but it is said that the New PSP everyone is talking about (the one we expected to be called PSP2 or PSP4000) is actually going to be called "PSP Go". Of course with new name comes new design and, so I have seen how they speculate the new look with a slide screen like the picture shown here.
So what is the big talk about this new PSP? The Memory Stick HG Micro will make the new PSP Go an outstanding feature. Such a fancy name for a memory stick, but in reality it is said to be better than your regular memory stick as it said to be 40 MB per second faster. This new PSP Go will have a double memory slots??? as said in Joystick.com: "The system will come in two variants: one with 8GB of internal memory, and one with 16GB." I think this will make UMD buying obsolete since game downloading will be official, but not for free as we do with our current PSPs. I do not actually know how that will work out, until we actually see the PSP Go. Release date for Japan is September 2009, and North America will get it too the following October, or November, 2009.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine PSP Gameplay
Posted on 14:49 by Unknown
X-Men Origins: Wolverine for the PSP is a great action, fight'em, beat'em, rip their guts off game. What I like about this game is the graphics; very well done(especially the cut-scenes) and the other thing that makes this a somewhat a unique game is the action and the sometimes slow motion capture when doing some combo attacks.
This is an good game, but I do believe it is really special for those who are really marvel comics fans, follow and enjoy wolverine comics.
