Metal Slug On PSP Neo Geo Emulator

Posted on 15:22 by Unknown
Did you ever played Contra from Konami on the NES or other gaming systems? Well, Metal Slug from SNK is kinda similar; shoot the bad guys, get different types of weapons to get an advantage over your enemy and rescue the poor souls. haha! Shoot them good and wipe all the enemies you see on the screen and earn bonus score. Get on one of those tanks to do heavy damage to their base and defeat the boss.

Overall, this games rocks, its got many missions. Level of difficulty is quite average, and fun factor is high. This is the first of the series, which I believe goes up to 7. I remember seeing this at the local arcade, many people playing and waiting their turns. Now it is great to have it on the PSP. Yes, it is still a good shoot em up game from SNK.

PSP Emulations: King Of Fighters 96 (Review)

Posted on 20:49 by Unknown
King Of Fighters 96 has a few changes from the previous 95 tournament. For example, Yuri is now in instead of Takuma, there are now 9 teams instead of 8, Leona replaced Heidern, Kazumi Todo a newcomer, she is in the girls team, replacing Yuri, and Iori has new team mates: Mature, and Vice.

There is a big shots team, the new team composed of Geese Howard, Mr. Big, and Wolfgang Krauser.

Overall this is a great game to practice your fighting skills and special moves, was really one to look for when it first arrived in my town in fall 1996. With the PSP anyone who has CFW can emulate it and remember how you kicked a$$ more than a decade ago.

PSP 3000 Pricing

Posted on 13:47 by Unknown

Talking about the new PSP model 3000 coming soon to North America, you would be surprised to know that those people at Sony are a bit money hungry. It is rumored that the new models are going to be slightly more expensive than the 2000 slim versions. Yes, I acknowledge that PSP 3000 is an improved model with built in mic, and better screen, color resolution, but, with the public might just want to be able to afford a portable gaming system. 15 USD or 20 USD more make a huge difference. They might reach over the $200 dollar mark on the U.S. I think we might see some PSP sales drop for a bit, until the price on these units drop down to a much fair price.

In my case, I have the 1000 model, I was thinking of getting the slim soon, but now I think I will wait till 3000 has come out and has dropped the price a bit; who knows, that could take as little as a month, or as long as year.

Choko (Japan) on PSP CPS Emulator

Posted on 16:39 by Unknown

I enjoy this game, except I had trouble on the wording on this Choko, because I don't think there is a US release for this game. See, the wording was of no use to me. I only speak English and Spanish, but I did somehow understood the simple game concept.

PSP: Puzz Loop on Capcom Play System (CPS) Emulator

Posted on 16:10 by Unknown
Puzz Loop 2 is great puzzle game in which aiming and being quick on your toes is key. You see me here playing this game, which I never heard of before until I installed Capcom Play System Emulator on my PSP.

When or if you play this game, you are the one in the middle shooting marbles at the marble spiral. The key to get good scores is to shoot the marbles of same color as to make at least three of a kind. Then they disappear. The marbles continue to spiral down the center by where you are. If the reach the limit of the road as they can go, and have to definitely stop, then it is game over. The more interesting things come later when there are obstacles that make your shot not hit your target. like the little tornado for example.

Overall this is an excellent game to play individually or with a bud. I do believe it is in the same family as Bust A Move from Taito which is quite a very well known game for puzzle game players. I have also heard this game has been cloned many times and thus these clones have many names, some are: Luxor, Zuma, Loco, Potpourrii, Tumblebugs, and Butterfly Escape.

PSP: Cake Mania Baker's Challenge

Posted on 22:56 by Unknown
Cake Mania Baker's Challenge is an excellent game, and kinda reminds me of Dinner Dash. If not the exactly alike, I say its in the same family of games.

Jill has just open her bakery shop. Her decision is to bring back the good little old fashion Cake shop for her grandparents who always taught her how to bake when she was a kid. With her grandparents recipies she will show the big coorporate goons that luck and some legwork she can succeed in her business.

You gotta be good at remembering a good sequence of buttons to press to be very fast at baking cakes. Customers are not always nice and some have short temper, they will leave if you make them wait long for their cake order. That is not good business if they leave. As you can see on the video, their mood is measured by the quantity of hearts that appear next to them. the more hearts when they leave with their cake, then the better they will tip.

The different types of cakes are good list, because of the combination of elements like frosting, layers, with candles etc. I am enjoying playing this game as I bare got it the other day. I know if you are into dinner dash, you will also like this game.

Buy Official PSP UMD Cake Mania: Baker's Challenge

What is PSP Remote Joy Lite?

Posted on 12:56 by Unknown
Remote Joy Lite is a homebrew application that has the capability for you to enjoy your PSP on a larger PC screen via USB Cable. This is excellent for every PSP .Only the Slim has the video out, but Fat has Remote Joy Lite, which kinda does the same thing (except not TVs yet). I think this homebrew application is fairly new. It is interesting to know how this application will develop over time.

Here are some videos I found on RemoteJoyLite:

PSP: King Of Fighters 94 On Neo Geo Emulator (Review)

Posted on 16:45 by Unknown
The first of the King of Fighters series. It starts on 1994, and some of the cast are from art of fighting, and fatal fury video games. This is where it all starts, this arcade came out every single year after that. Seen some changes and and teams, new characters, some of them that developed quite nicely and some that were just forgotten.

PSP: N+ Review PSP Gameplay

Posted on 16:29 by Unknown
N+ stands for Ninja + I believe, but as you can see, the main character here is just a stick figure with lots of acrobatic ninja moves and a good gold collector, haha!. As you may already know, this game is a sequel to the one title N: Way of the Ninja. Which is a flash game that was release in May 16, 2005. by Metanet Software.

Main object of the game is to get through many of the levels-stages mazes type of deal, but like in almost every game you start off simple then it gets hard. You got to collect as many gold coins as you can. Touch the switch that will open the door to the next level, and avoid many types of obstacles on the way.

N+ is a fun game I enjoy whenever I have free time to spare, but I think I still lack on some agility skills to get me rank as a good ninja, because I just barely got it the other day. Well, "practice makes perfect" as they say.

You can not download this game here for the PSP. Of course to make this a playable file, you need CFW, otherwise it is not going to work. All you really need to do, if you already have CFW, is just place the ISO file inside the ISO folder on the root of your memory stick.(if you do not have an ISO folder there, then just create one)

PSP: Xmen Vs Street Fighter On CPS2PSP Gameplay

Posted on 13:11 by Unknown
X-men Vs Street Fighter by Capcom is kinda old arcade game released on 1996 which later came out on gaming consoles. It is the first fighting game of Capcom Vs Marvel crossovers.

Game play is tag team, this means you gotta be able to be somewhat good playing with at least 2 characters to have a chance at victory. Combos are great on this game and somewhat easy to do, and there is even infinite combos for every single character on the game. The complete moves list for every character can be viewed here.

After defeating every team playing the CPU, you then fight Apocalypse, one of my favorite bad guy from Marvel Universe, but here he is really simple to defeat him. Then, you need to choose one of your character from your team as only one can be the winner. and that is the end of the game.

PSP: King Of Fighters 95 On Neo Geo Emulator (Review)

Posted on 22:18 by Unknown
(KOF)King Of Fighters 95 is the second Game of the whole KOF series. I must say that compared to the Original KOF 94, 95 seems quite easy on defeating your opponents. And the CPU is quite fair on the matches against it.

On this game, one of my favorite characters is introduced. I am talking about the first appearance of Iori Yagami, the arch rival of Kyo Kusanagi. One of the big improvements of KOF 95 was the ability to create your own team. You have a choice to edit a team of three fighters as opposed to KOF 94 where you had to choose a team of three; which in some cases I had no experience on the moves and control of a specific character of a team.

Another and maybe not a good decision by SNK, was the elimination of the USA team. The USA team was: Heavy D, Lucky Glauber, and Brian Battler. I was quite anxious to see how these characters would have had developed if they had continued on the KOF series.

After you defeat all the teams in KOF 95, then you fight Rugal, the extremely hard boss. There is some kind of confusion to me here, because after you defeat Rugal in KOF 94. He seemed to have died in a huge explosion. To have kept it interesting SNK should have had a new boss in 95, but oh well, I guess that is just me.
