PSP Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII (Review)

Posted on 14:40 by Unknown

Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII is a role playing game (RPG) for the PSP. I started playing this game just a few days back, so I will retract to talk about the story, because as you can see also in the video, I still have not finished the game, just starting. I will add more to this post as I find out more about it, playing it.

Do I like it so far? Well, yes but there are some things that bother me about the game. The cut scenes and voice acting is superb, as well as graphics of the very nice detailed 3d model characters. The main character is Zack. Who the hell is Zack? If he indeed was a character in FFVII I really don’t remember. Nevertheless He is there and a few of our unforgettable FFVII characters, like for example, Tifa, Sephiroth, and Cloud.

The battle system is very unique and we also see similar elements, like using materia, and limit breaks. The battle system is real-time, so there’s no waiting and taking turns, just press the buttons as fast as you can, or else you are just wasting time and getting hit by your enemies. It is not my preferred way to do battle, but maybe it will get interesting later on, when I am ahead in the game. I think I got used to controlling a bunch of people when doing battle, but so far, Zack has been the only one doing any kind of battle.

I am interested to hear what anyone has to say about playing this game, feel free to leave a comment here and give some feedback. That is all for now.

PSP Gradius Collection (Review)

Posted on 14:37 by Unknown

Are you into shooting games, then you will like Gradius Collection for the PSP. For me, it is a little monotonous. I mean, I can play it for a certain period of time, but not too much because it bores me. I don’t mean to give this a bad review. I just think that this collection is practically the same games with a little modification, and has nothing to look forward to.

One thing noticing about the game that bugged me was that it is not so good to keep collecting speed. See, the more speed you have the harder is to control. If you tap up for avoiding enemies, then boom you crashed on the ceiling of the screen. Ha! Not everything here is at lost though, if you save the game where you are, with lots of weapons attached, and die, you can load the game and be at that same place, with all the equipped weapons. That is what I am doing to get to end of the game, haha!

I really suck playing this game as you can see on this video. Loading game is my only option to stand a chance. lol!

PSP Guilty Gear: Judgment (Review)

Posted on 14:32 by Unknown
Guilty Gear: Judgment is a 2d fighting game for the PSP. This game is actually 2 games in one (Judgment, and X2 The Midnight Carnival). You choose at the beginning of the game which you want to play. They have similar character selection, with the difference on the options of play. X2 The Midnight Carnival has Arcade, M.O.M, Multiplayer, Vs CPU, and Survival. Judgment has, Story Mode, Survival, and 2 player co-op.

I played the Story mode, and I think it’s the most fun for me; it is a platform game in which you got to beat many enemies up, going to different stages. Some on which there will be a boss at the end. Watch out, because these are hard.

Ok I like this game, but not as much as some other in the fighting genre.

Are You PSP Crazy?

Posted on 18:05 by Unknown
Sony's PSP has revolutionized the way we look at portable gaming. The Playstation Portable is the greatest handheld game device up to date. No handhelds can do the kind of media the PSP can do. In terms of quality in games, viewing videos, sharing pictures, playing tunes, and browsing the internet, the PSP is the leader in my book.

The game library for the PSP is growing, and growing every day; thus making it a richer handheld device. There’s got to be something interesting on the PSP out there for even the pickiest game player.

I got my PSP two years ago and still love it like the day when I first bought it. I would not trade it for any other handheld game system. I can say for sure, I give it a daily usage, to get myself entertained when there is nothing better to do. Nice to know I have it ready on the go, or just as an alternative to playing my PS3 when I am indoors.

I have many games stored in my PSP. Being able to play Emulators is without a doubt one of the best things that happened to the PSP. Yes, I am PSP crazy. I have even replaced my attention I had for my PS2 to my PSP. I have been on the internet finding out more about it, reading reviews, news, gossip on what is happening, new applications being develop, and more stuff. That of which makes me think, I am not the only PSP crazy here, but also all the ones who develop homebrew games, for example, and of course all the players who have the passion for the PSP’s capability. Haha!

How To Transfer Music Files To The PSP

Posted on 16:11 by Unknown

Transferring music files to the PSP is really basic, and easy to do. I would not post this here, because I assume everyone already knows, as I have had my PSP for quite a while, and think everybody has, but as of lately, I have seen the increase of people getting a PSP for their first time.

Ok, what is needed?

1. PSP any Version, any Firmware

2. Computer with music files in it (MP3)

3. PSP USB Cable (The ones with a regular USB Connector on one end, and Mini-B connector on the other end.)

4. Memory Stick already inserted to the PSP

Procedure:

With the PSP USB Cable, plug in both ends to their perspective connection end. On the PSP main menu go to the “Settings” Menu and Choose “USB Connection” on the list, should be the second one from the top.

On your computer you will be notify that a removable disk have been added. Go to and open My Computer, and open up the removable disk recently added which would be the PSP’s memory stick. Browse and find the MUSIC folder under PSP folder (If not there you can create one). Drag and drop all the mp3 files there. Once done, press the terminate connection on the PSP, this is usually "O" button. Unplug it from the computer. You should now have mp3 files on your music menu on the PSP. Enjoy!!

PSP: Spelling Challenges And More (Review)

Posted on 14:26 by Unknown

Who says you can’t play PSP and not learn how to spell? Spelling Challenges And More proves that it is possible; much like Alpha-Bits cereal teaches how spell while you eat, ha!

Educational games like this are rare; it is different from the rest of the violent action, puzzle, sports, fighting, and role playing games. That is what makes it good and entertaining.

As of the level of difficulty, I haven’t played it much, but I am at level 28. There are 100 levels in all. I don’t consider myself a good speller, and missed some words that are relatively easy sometimes (as you can see on the video).

My recommendation is if you are a parent; buy your kid this game, because I think kids could actually improve their spelling by playing it. Who knows, your kid could become a Spelling Bee Champion with the help of this game.

Spelling is not all you do here, there are other games that teach you about how to identify, verbs, nouns, and adjectives. As you keep playing the game and get good scores you earn dollars (not real ones, just in the game) which is just a way of keeping score. It is fun learning experience for me, because now I know how to properly spell words I wasn’t really sure how to spell before.

Sony's PSP Phone!

Posted on 20:20 by Unknown

As I understand the idea is there and well, patented already. The question is if Sony will go for it, or will it let this one fly away. I do not know much of phone companies, but I think the make-cell-phone market is still growing as we speak. I Think if Sony wants to act, now is the time, and take a big portion of the pie.

Hey, what the heck, if I am a PSP fan, I will rid of my current cell phone and get a PSP Phone instead. I can just imagine how popular this cell phones will be. Maybe better than iPhone? What do you think?

How To Convert AndTransfer Videos To Your PSP (Using PSP Video 9)

Posted on 00:55 by Unknown
There might be more than one way to convert and transfer videos to your PSP, but searching the internet I found one way and stayed with it. "PSP Video 9" was the way to go. It is a free software for your PC that will convert any video file format into a PSP video format (MP4). The software is user friendly. In less than 10 clicks away of your computer mouse...you are done, and ready to enjoy your videos on the PSP!

Visit the official website Here and download the software and learn more about the software developers.

This is what I use and can't be happier with the results.
In case my writing didn't make sense, maybe the following video will be clear to everyone.

PSP: Burnout Legends (Review)

Posted on 15:35 by Unknown

Burnout Legends is a car driving game. I am not new to this genre, but this certainly felt that way. Wow!! It is so intense, your heart will pump very fast then it will suddenly stop!!! Some reasons why I like this game:

  1. Slow motion chaos! Once you crash or take down any of your opponents, the camera goes into detail mode. Zooming in on the aftermath with slow motion pressing in the R button.
  2. Taking down, or in other words making your opponents crash gives you extra boost. So as opposite of other driving games where avoiding contact is best way to go, in this game does not apply. So hit as many racing cars as you can, you have a better chance at winning. Haha.
  3. Unlock cool racing cars. It is really easy; just win a gold medal of any of the playing modes which are: Race, Road Rage, Face-Off, Eliminator, Pursuit and others.
The action is very fast, so look at the video below to get the idea.

PSP: Valkyrie Profile Lenneth (Review)

Posted on 15:25 by Unknown

There are hundreds of Role Playing Games for all gaming systems, and while I do enjoy an RPG now and then, my selection is very picky. I have to say that this game is very interesting and I did get to enjoy it in its entirety.

The fact of the matter is that most of the RPG’s I have come to know or herd of have the main hero of course, but it is usually a male hero. Rarely will we see a female character playing the main role. I think that most game developers think that video games in general are played by male audiences and so the usual male hero for almost all RPGs and for other game genres too. I wished this wasn’t true, but for those who disagree, please educate me.

Well then, let’s talk about the game. Lenneth is her name; she is a Valkyrie and also known as the Battle Maiden. She lives in Asgard, where the Gods live. But Asgard will soon be under attack by their enemies. And so the end of the world or also known as Ragnarok will happen unless the troops who defend Asgard are strong in number and fighting skill.

Lenneth’s mission is to go to Midgard, a mortal place (kinda like earth), get to know the people. Collect the strongest warriors by resurrecting them when they die. These have to be righteous fighters, who have a good sense of justice. Then, she would need to train them in the story, and send them to Asgard’s gates as new soldiers for Asgard. To do this task well, you need to send the chosen ones as strong as they can be. In battles they gain experience points which you use to power up anyone of your group.

This game is great; I loved it from beginning to end. Especially the battle system is cool and wonderful 3d rendering scenes. I recommend this to every PSP RPG player!! ^_^

PSP Final Fantasy Tactics: The War Of The Lions (Trailer)

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War Of The Lions is one of the best strategy games I have ever played. This seems to be recent work they have added as this game has been out for years, back when the PSOne game was first release. Great cut scenes animation by the producers.

PSP: Capcom Puzzle World (Review)

Posted on 15:06 by Unknown

I got to be honest, and I heard about this game over the internet. Looked it up, and found out that one of the games included was Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo. That is the main reason I looked for this game, and really not interested on the other games that were added here. Well yea, Buster Brothers is interesting, but not so much as Puzzle Fighter!

If you haven’t played Puzzle Fighter already, I do urge you to do so. It is great invention by Capcom. The levels are great and challenging, the graphics are cool and shiny. I especially like the chibi Street Fighters and Darkstakers characters on it. One and I think the best feature for this game is the options on how you can choose to play. For example, puzzle type X, Y, or Z.

Type X, is where the most skill and thinking is required to beat your opponent, and I would say it is the hardest when you play the computer, and type Y is the easiest and the more fun for me. I think because not so much skill is required here, but have to depend on luck and the computer I guess takes it easy on you, even if you choose to play the hard mode. Type Z, I rarely play it, but it looks similar to Ultimate Block Party. If you have already played it, you would know.

Overall this is an excellent puzzle game that wont disappoint puzzle gamers. I recommend it much ^_^

PSP: Capcom Classic Collection Reloaded (Review)

Posted on 14:25 by Unknown

Capcom Classic Collection Reloaded is a game packed with the most popular arcade machines of the past. The games included here are: 1942, 1943, Ghouls N Ghosts, Commando, Mercs, Street Fighter II, SonSon, Exed Exes, Gun Smoke, The King of Dragons, Knights of the Round, and more.

Playing these might bring back memories to the old time gamers, like it did when I played it. I can tell my kids “look!! This is what I used to play when I was your age.” and I know they wouldn’t care much, because they are really into the newest game releases and movies. Gaming has come so far now, these might be consider antiques; not interested in the old stuff, but it doesn’t matter, I still like my old school games. Haha!

So what is going on in this game? Well, when you play the games on it, whatever might be, you will be earning credits and these credits will added at the game over of every game you play. You will be able to unlock cheats, music, and art, by playing the slot machine with the credits you have already earned. The video below is showing this.

My rating for this game is 9 out of 10, I would not have minded if they would have added more classic games on it. But then, again, it is really good and entertaining and a personal favorite.

PSP Text Messaging Via AdHoc

Posted on 13:37 by Unknown

I had heard the PSP could do text messaging via AdHoc before, and so, I was curious to find out more about it. This would be great for those who have a PSP and knows a play buddy who also owns a PSP, but the one thing to keep in mind is that both PSPs got to have Homebrew enable.

Well, just imagine you are in the house, bored in your room with your PSP, while your other PSP buddy is in another room, you can’t talk to each other but you certainly can text him/her via AdHoc on your PSP. The great thing about using AdHoc for this is that you don’t need internet connection and besides loading web pages on the PSP is really time consuming. Adhoc is more convenient for the use of this feature, and is fastest as it is just a connection on 2 PSPs or even more.

At this point in time, there are 2 Homebrew developers that have come up with this application for the PSP. Check out the links to find more about them, and if interested download the applications (free) and let me know what you think!

PSP Emulations: SVC Chaos (Review)

Posted on 00:21 by Unknown

SVC Chaos Stands for SNK VS CAPCOM Chaos. It is a 2d fighting game in which the best or some selected fighters from the world of SNK go against the best of Capcom fighters. The fighters were selected from many previous fighting games. For example, King of Fighters, Street Fighter, Dark Stalkers, Samurai Showdown and more. 12 SNK selectable characters plus 12 Capcom characters + hidden characters make it as the title suggests: a chaos!! haha

Really the 2 powerhouses, who have given us great games in the fighting genre, collide here and we see who really dominates in the fighting game world. This has been a long released title, and I know, because I remember playing this at the local arcade maybe more than 5 years ago.

Now with the convenience of the PSP NEO GEO emulation, I can play it anytime I want, and practice my moves. I need all the training I could get so I can finally beat the last boss of the game. Which can be 2, either Mr. Karate From SNK (which is that guy with the stupid long nose mask) or Akuma From Street Fighter.

You’ll have fun playing this on your PSP, I guarantee it!!

PSP Emulations: Bust-A-Move (Review)

Posted on 23:50 by Unknown

Probably the greatest puzzle game preferred by many, especially women and don’t ask me why, because I don’t have the answer for that. I have been carrying this game on my PSP SNES Emulator, and the women in my life ask me for it, so they can play it.

Bust-a-Move from Taito is a great entertaining puzzle game. The controls are very simple, and so just about anyone, and even a 6 year old can understand the concept, but there is also strategy and aiming that comes into play.

The goal of the game is to launch the different color balloons to their perspective color. At least 3 are required to make them fall off from the screen. The screen shrinks from the top and so the balloons will drop down after a certain period of time. If the balloons reach the bottom of the screen because you failed to make the balloons fall off, it will be game over. In case you successfully clear the screen of balloons, you will have won and will go to the next stage. There are a total of 100 stages available on 1P Play mode.

This game will totally entertain you. I do recommend it much. It is fun puzzle game for me, and have no complaints on my part. Enjoy!

PSP Emulations: Super Mario World (Review)

Posted on 19:06 by Unknown

This just shows how old of a gamer I am. Hehe! Back in the day when Super Nintendo was the hottest gaming system in the world. There wasn’t even any Sony Playstation back then, and so Nintendo was king because of the lack of competition.

So many Mario series out there, I don’t even want to mention because I know I will mess up on the count. Super Mario World was a really good game to play in its days of glory and for many people was the game that introduced the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), much like the first Mario Bros. introduced the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).

What was so great about Super Mario World? Well, you name it, the controls, the stage secrets, Yoshi, castle missions, ghost house missions, under wSater missions and much more…I can’t say how many different stages there are here, but trust me it can very well keep you going and playing for hours and hours and you will probably will forget to count one or more hidden stages.

With the PSP emulating any SNES games, I can never let go of playing those games I used to play long ago.

PSP Emulations: Samurai Showdown 2 (Review)

Posted on 18:32 by Unknown

Samurai Showdown 2 is a Weapon’s fighting game and much like the first and original Samurai Showdown, we see improvements here on the sequel. I especially like the new characters added to the game. Kibagami Genguro (as seen on the video below) is a personal favorite, much because of his style of fighting and cool confident attitude.

Another improvement feature I saw in this game that wasn’t on the original, is the special deadly attacks, in which the aggressor doing the special attack breaks the opponent’s weapon while doing heavy damage. Although the weapon comes to play in a few moments later, the weaponless fighter stands at a disadvange for that period of time. Blocking hard slashes always takes health energy away for those without their weapon.

In this game there are 15 characters in all, plus the final boss which is really hard. To beat her you will need to be sharp skilled, and a big potion of luck. Haha ^_^

This game is definitely an old timer, I remember playing it at the local liquor store quite a few years ago, but it has not gone out of style in my book. And now on the PSP I can emulate it, and play it whenever I want.

PSP Emulations: Garou-Mark of The Wolves (Review)

Posted on 17:38 by Unknown

Garou-Mark of The Wolves is another Neo Geo title, which I believe comes from the same family as Fatal Fury. Its falls on the 2d fighting genre and ranks high up there with the King Of Fighters series.

The characters animation and design are well done and the scenery on where the fights take place is not left behind. This is a one on one fight against your human opponent via ad hock, or just against the CPU.

Accumulate power and perform a 1 or 2 level devastating move on your opponent. Set you T.O.P. either at be beginning, middle or end of your health bar to do more damage when you are at that level of health power.

I really recommend playing this game to all players who enjoy fighting games and are also King Of Fighters fans.

PSP: Gottlieb Pinball Classics (Review)

Posted on 17:32 by Unknown

Gottlieb Pinball Classics is definitely entertaining, but really bad with the info. I am not interested on history of the pinball title and other specs. All I really want is kick ass and get a super high score and earn credits!

I was never a good pinball player at the arcade. In fact, I can remember playing them only a few times in my entire life. This game got my interest because I had lack the experience to play the real thing.

There are 11 tables here, and most very interesting except the ones that don’t seem like games. For example, Love Meter or Xolten, what a waste of time and credits!!. Some machines are super challenging and hard to earn credits on. I have always thought that pinball machines are games of little skill required and big in the luck factor department.

As you play the game and get high scores, you earn credits and free plays on other pinball machines. The main goal is to unlock all the pinball machines.

Ps. Little secret spoiler: I found out that the machine more rewarding and easy to earn credits on is Big Shot. Good luck!!

PSP: Dinner Dash (Review)

Posted on 17:19 by Unknown

This is another game that falls into the puzzle genre. Dinner Dash is really good and entertaining. Thou I must warn you! You have to be really fast with those fingers to keep up with the game.

I could understand that sometimes a small diner might just need 2 persons: the cook and the waitress, but with the clients building up, you will need more employees to help out with the costumers. Not in this game, it doesn’t work like that. Good luck trying to serve 50 + people in a work’s shift and you are the waitress Flo, who will take full responsibilities of all the costumers coming in and leaving the dinner.

The object of the game is to earn as much as possible in a day’s work. The happiest the costumer, the better they tip. With Flo running around getting the food, mopping the floor, serving drinks, giving the check, cleaning the tables, getting the baby’s chair, and other tasks, it could be quite overwhelming, but not impossible.

Overall this game ranks high, as opposed to other puzzle games I have seen for the PSP. I hope you enjoy it as much I have.

PSP Emulations: King Of Fighters 2003 (Review)

Posted on 11:30 by Unknown

KOF 2003 is an excellent game in the fighting genre. If you never heard of the King Of Fighters series before, this game might not be for you, but all of us that have been playing this series since it first came out in arcades back in 1994, it is still going strong, or at least for me it is.

Interesting to see this game is not out for sale for the PSP, instead it is an Emulation which the PSP can do wonderfully. Well, I mean a PSP with Homebrew enable.

The basics of this game is to win matches against your opponents, it is a 3 on 3 battle. Skill plays a big role in this game because you need to execute special moves and deadly special moves to have an advantage over your opponent. There is a big list of characters to choose from, each with their own signature special moves. Getting to the last boss of the game might be easy. But beating him might not be. Good luck trying hehe!!

I love King Of Fighters series. Used to be that the tournament would be held every year and so more characters would be added than omitted, and the list kept growing and growing.

PSP: Ultimate Block Party (Review)

Posted on 11:00 by Unknown

As the title suggest it’s a block party. Good enjoyable game in the puzzle genre. I am definitely please with its performance and great invention by the creators (Conspiracy Entertainment). I love the colorful atmosphere and the play basics of it. The characters are interesting and kinda goofy looking, but in a good way. Hehe.

The fun really starts when you play the arcade game and play against all the characters and the final boss. The concept of the game is to line up blocks of the same color(at least 4 of the same), as long as they are next to each other they will disappear and so as time passes new blocks will appear from the bottom of the screen. The game will be over if the blocks reach the top when new blocks would want to appear from the bottom again. The 2 by 2 cursor will let you shift blocks clock wise and counter clock wise.

There are other rules that apply to this game, like for example, the arrow blocks that are activated when again when you make 4 blocks touch including the arrow block and wherever the arrow is pointing the blocks that are being pointed will turn the same color, making a bigger chain and attacking your opponent.

Overall this is a great puzzle game that is sure to be entertaining for every PSP puzzle gamer out there. I certainly recommend it.

PSP: Echochrome (Review)

Posted on 21:01 by Unknown

Don’t know the meaning of the word Echochrome, but the PSP game Echochrome is really out of the ordinary when it comes to puzzles games.

If you love thinking games, this will definitely bring you happiness. As for me, it is a good game when I am on the back seat of the car driving away for a day of picnic. I can’t say I am a puzzle gamer, but this definitely was one of my likings. These are my reasons for saying so:

  1. The graphics are not state of the art, and don’t need to be, because it focuses more on how your brain works.
  2. The sound of the woman emits an echo, and makes you me think we are the watchers and above all characters.
  3. Not many games have the concept of instead of controlling a character in an environment; you control the environment and not the character.

Game play goal is for you to control the environment; connect the character with the right path, and follow the rule of “what you see becomes truth”.

PSP: Chameleon (Review) PSP Gameplay

Posted on 11:33 by Unknown

This is a short game, left me empty and wishing for more. It was really fun for an hour or so, but got very dull and run out of fun very fast.

There are not a lot of characters to choose from. You play with the default computer, or could play with another player via ad hoc. Each character has a special move of their own that helps them out in wining the game. The main goal for the game is to accumulate more spaces than your opponent. Taking turns you chose a color which is next to you, the chosen color is now your space. Choose a color wisely, because some that are next together are chained of the same color. You would want to go for the chained color spaces to get the win.

Very interesting game, and not taking that from it, but the mayor downfall is the lack of characters and stages and so makes it boring after you play it twice or even three times. Overall I give this game a 4 out of 10 ranking. 10 being the best!

PSP: Everybody's Golf 2 (Review)

I am not really into golf; in fact I find it boring and dull to watch on TV. Curiosity got the best of me and decided to find out for myself if this game was at least one inch interesting. I am really surprised that I got addicted to this game. The fun factor is up there with the best selling PSP sport games out there.

I love the cute chibi characters, and beautiful scenery on some golf courses. I would say that this game is based mostly on skill rather than on luck. You really have to take in consideration your aiming, the wind factor, and terrain to make a good play.

As you keep winning tournaments, and one-on-one matches, you will get extra accessories for your character, your rank goes higher, and unlock new characters. Like in almost all games, it starts pretty easy, but then it gets really hard on some courses and you can’t really afford making many mistakes, by landing the golf ball in the pond for example. That is a mayor oh! No!!

PSP: WTF-Work Time Fun (Review)

Posted on 10:05 by Unknown

Fun and entertaining game, and a personal favorite. Work Time Fun is enjoyable because of the many mini games on it. 40 mini games are packed on it, and bet more than one can be of your liking. They include racing, wrestling, timing, order taking, lumberjack wood chopping, math adding, and many more.

As you play these games you earn money in the game(credits), if you get really good at one game the more money you earn. These range from .01 cent to my highest of 28 dollars, earn as much as you can so you will be able to go to the vending machines to unlock new games and figurines.

The level of challenge depends on the mini game you choose to play, its pretty much a game where anyone at any age can play and have fun with either another player or by yourself.

PSP: DBZ Shin Budokai 2 (Review)

Posted on 02:30 by Unknown

Powerhouse of a game, DBZ Shink Budokai 2 for PSP delivers amazing fighting action. Maybe I do find it interesting because I have always been a fan of the animated series. That is why I recommend this game to all DBZ fans.

Be quick and alert as you fight your opponents. The action is so fast you wont believe your eyes, and it is very important to maintain and gather ki energy. You spend more ki energy than what you have and you are in serious trouble. Dodging and blocking attacks are a big part of this game too.

Love the cell shaded characters and the anime like atmosphere. Lots of characters to choose from, and even though they missed a few I wish were there, does not do much damage to my review.

Options of play include the Story Mode of course which goes by the name of Another Road, Arcade, Z Trial, Network Battle, and Practice. As you fight and win battles you earn Zenie which you can later use for buying extra content in the game.

PSP: Puzzle Guzzle (Review)

Posted on 01:50 by Unknown

Now this is just my opinion, and I think that after playing this game you will want to lock it in a dark isolated room and forget about the key. Well, it was fun for about a day or less or so, but I would not buy this game if I had 20 dollars on me.

The game play got interesting though, I did enjoy connecting the patterns. The first stage is so easy I think my grandma who can barely see, would win. Haha! But on the serious note, that is all there is to it.

This game did not get interesting after that. I really don’t give a hoot about changing appearance and/or changing voice after a defeated character, nor was it attracting when you change the block attack.

There might be players who enjoy this game and think it is fun, I am of an open mind and respect their opinion, but in the puzzle game genre I prefer Puzzle Fighter from Capcom.

PSP: Tekken Dark Resurrection (Review)

Posted on 01:12 by Unknown

Fighting genre: 3d graphics and a real good game play, this game here really packs a punch. I have played many 3d fighting games on the PSP and this title wins over the competition and I will give the reasons why:

  1. The renderings are so beautiful, every little detail counts when it comes to character costume, face features, anatomy, and scenery.
  2. The game play is excellent and the controllers so convenient, 4 buttons for right, left punch, and right, left kick, and not counting the combination of any two which you can customized on options
  3. All the different ways you can play, be either a tournament, the arcade game, the story game, survival, bowling and much, much more.
  4. As you play and win matches you earn credits that let you purchase movies, and accessories for your favorite character to wear, that way you can customized any of the 30+ characters in the game.

So far this has been my preferred game when it comes to 3d fighting game. I really enjoy it and recommend it to anyone who is into this genre.
