PSP Emulations: Samurai Showdown PSP Gameplay
Posted on 12:26 by Unknown
Neo Geo who became popular for 2d fighting games, give us Samurai Showdown; the first of many sequels to come then Samurai Showdown 2, 3, etc. I think it was the first fighting game I played that involved swords.
This video is a sample of games emulated on the PSP. In this case I have "Samurai Showdown"; a great classic game from the early 90s. There are hundreds of games for the NEO GEO alone.

Intro

Hello, my name is Hector, I am a video game player who has always been fascinated with video games of all types. I remember when i was a kid, maybe about 10 years old, always wanting an atari. Back then, I asked my grandma to buy it for me, but I understood it was a little over budget for any one of my parents. When I turned 15 I decided to get a job and buy me one, but then, the Nintendos were the hottest thing to get. It wasn't long untill I got me a minimum wage job.
I was also going to school at that time, and of course I kept all the money I earned. Finally I did buy my Nintendo Entertaintment System(NES). It was fun, playing Mario bros, I played it till finally got bored of it. I can't remember how many times I got to the end and rescued the Princess from Browser, but I know were a lot.
I did buy more games later on, but that is how started to get this addiction for video games. Anything here will be about video games, and mostly PSP related, the greatest I have played and recent hot new games on the market.

PSP Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes (Review)
Posted on 02:43 by Unknown
From the past we now look into the future of the gaming world, this is for all Naruto's fans. I was able to play this game out from the memory card of my PSP. In this case I chose Sakura Haruno as my fighter.
This game falls in the 2d fighting game genre and it really stands out when it comes to graphics and cell shaded models are nicely detailed. I do enjoy playing this game, especially because you really have to act fast as the action is quick and need to keep alert of your opponent.
The fighting is great, and the controls make it easy to do an air combo attack. While in combat you will come across items that will help you get the victory, some of these are: invisible potion, special ninja stars etc.
I'd say the only downfall for this game was the zoom out feature, and it is really annoying when sometimes the computer opponent wants to keep away from you avoiding the fight.

Sega Genesis Emulations
Posted on 20:00 by Unknown
This Sega Genesis emulator is really easy to install.
Altered Beast is one of its classic games. Anyone remember playing it?
I am talking about early late 80s and early 90s when I first saw the arcade game at the local pizza place. yes, quite long ago. and this was before Sega Genesis had been released in the U.S.
No way, I could not even get trough the first stage, back then, boy did I suck, I remember getting to the first bald guy who then transforms into a head throwing monster.
Before fighting the boss at every stage, you need to get the 3 power ups. the third one being the one that lets you transform into a human beast (altered beast). In all there are 4 types: the wolf, dragon, bear, and tiger.
To see the ending you need to get through 5 stages, when the final boss is beating you rescue the girl who was captive somehow, and I believe she is the daughter of the dude who gives you mission in the first place.
