Professional Bull Riders PBR: Out Of The Chute PSP

Posted on 18:33 by Unknown

Professional Bull Riders: Out Of The Chute. You can play as a cowboy rider or a bull, lol. It is funny how that sounds, but if you choose to be the bull, your objective is to knock the rider out of mount as fast as possible. hehe! Each character (man or bull) have their own properties such as balance, coordination, stamina, strength, etc.

There are many events in where you can compete; Some are: Quick Ride (kinda like exhibition match). There is a tutorial built inside the game so you won't bother reading the manual that comes with the UMD. There are two choices if you pick Single Player mode: Unlimited Ride and Season Mode. And those are basically the most important game play modes. Of course to keep things interesting there are also unlockables.

Now get yourself ready to learn how to play the game. Well, so far it has not been too hard for me. I could last sometimes more than 8 seconds riding a bull or maybe because I am too early in the game and I haven't ridden any tougher bulls. Well, this is said to be the most dangerous dirt sport ever. What do you think? Just look at the video below!

I have made this ISO file available for anyone to download for free as always. Just follow these simple instructions:

Dungeon Maker 2: The Hidden War PSP Review

Posted on 17:15 by Unknown

Dungeon Maker II: The Hidden War is an adventure, role playing game. Definitely not the best I have ever played, but entertaining nonetheless. The main character is an architect (you will be able to make up his name and, with those eye glasses he kinda reminds me of that guy in harry potter, lol), but he does not specialize in building houses, only dungeons. He (You) builds them, and then fight the monsters who have gone inside.

There is a lot of talk at the beginning of the game, an old man will talk to you and give you a little info on the general idea of the game. He aslo talks about the town you will be staying in and the different places you can go explore withing the town. Then you will meet a 15 year old girl, who is a hunter, but really low leveled. She asks you to make her her apprentice in dungeon making. and so far I am off to building the first dungeon and trying to kill the first boss beast. So that is what the video below shows.

Mana Khemia Portable PSP

Posted on 13:22 by Unknown

Mana Khemia by NIS. Always in the search for good, new, exiting RPGs, with great character development. It is said that this title is sequel of previous Atelier Iris game. I must say that this is new to me because I never heard of it and, so never had a chance to play it.

Looking up at the video trailer, it got my interest. although I can't say much about it, till i actually get my hands on it. It seems that there will be written and vocal dialogs, which is something that I think it is neat on new top notch games. This game is developed by Gust, and schedule to be released in the U.S. on January 2009.

Samurai Showdown Anthology For PSP Review

Posted on 20:03 by Unknown

Samurai Showdown Anthology For PSP. Great set of all Samurai Showdown games 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, if you are a fan like I am. I however, do not claim to be the biggest fan, because all I really enjoy playing is Samurai Showdown (the first one). Just brings back some memories of the past as I was there getting my hands on this game when it was barely released some years ago. and some of the number two also, and this is only because I like playing as Kibagami Genjuro, Hahaha.

As opposed to the Neo Geo Emulation this kinda falls a little in my opinion. Of course with the UMD version there are more options to the game. I did notice some sound problems, but I guess that is the only thing that bothers me about it so far. Fighting scenes are the same, you can change the screen width 3:4 or full screen (my favorite as the video shows) and others.

Watch my video below so you will see my skills (as tachibana ukyo) handling my sword against earthquake. multitasking on taking a video and playing at the same time while trying to do some special moves has been a little overwhelming, but I do not want to sound like I am using excuses. hehe! And well this game is not the hardest if ever fighting the first guy of course. Just wait till you meet Amakusa Shirow Tokisada. Have fun playing!!

iSound Pro 2 For PSP

Posted on 01:10 by Unknown

Was just the other day watching some videos while riding in the car. I wanted to share some of the funny toons I download to my PSP to my friends. The problem with some video is that the volume sound is set to very low, so even if you do raise the volume all the way up on the PSP, it is not going to be much difference, and produce low sound.

I just had to look something up on the internet to help me find something that would make the sound of the PSP louder and clearer. Well, the PSP i.Sound Pro 2 came up to one of my searches results.

While I still have yet to give in and buy one, I hear its fold able so makes it easier to carry around. It is also said to have surround sound effects, and that it can charge the PSP while on the dock. The only bad thing about it is that some say that its really a pain to keep plugging and unplugging the ugly adapter. This discarded the idea for me to carry it around in the car, unless it comes with car charger too.

I guess I will just stick to my ear- headphones for now, but I am still quite interested in this little hot accessory for the PSP later in the future. (o_0)

Everyday Shooter PSP Gameplay

Posted on 13:41 by Unknown

Everyday Shooter for the PSP is quite the small file game, but packs much great fun entertainment. I like how it is very simple using the controls, similar to Stardust Portable, but with much simpler graphics. however, I do think that this game has more extra content and mode play than Stardust Portable. Unlocking new features are done by accumulating points, then buy the unlock features using the amount of points required. Here on the video is me playing it for the first time. What do you think?

PSP Warriors Of The Lost Empire Review

Posted on 13:00 by Unknown
Warriors of The Lost Empire for the PSP is an action/adventure game that takes place in a fantasy world. At the beginning of the game you will need to choose one from the 4 available heroes: a highlander, a gladiator, dark seeker, and an amazon. Then you can choose to customize their clothing color a little bit, but its not a big deal. There will be a lot of weapons you will come across exploring the world and you will also learn new fighting techniques. There are a lot of features in the game that makes this title interesting. more is the ability to hire a blacksmith to create weapons, also hire a alchemist who can turn your old unused items into more valuable pieces.

Story mode is my only option at this time, but I see you can also play "dungeon mode" which is also a single player game and "multiplayer" for your buddies to join in the action.

The Architect's Mansion will be your first mission and dungeon to explore appointed to you by Aldora. The monsters there are weak and its quite easy to kill and you will also learn the basics of the controls. At that dungeon's end you will meet Rabirius who is a legendary hero and he will talk to you about the living dead and such.

Here on the video below I meet the legendary hero Rabirius who seems to be a ghost, then after that, I meet Aldora again who will instruct on the next missions. Overall great adventure game. I am enjoying it much. ^.^

PSP Buzz Brain Bender Review

Posted on 11:36 by Unknown

Buzz Brain Bender for the PSP will give you and your friends something to think about and a real brain workout. Are you good doing simple math, defining shapes, remembering figures, solving quick puzzles and the like? Well, this game is really good in that sense. I have enjoyed it so far.

Surely knowing the accurate answer to the puzzles in the entire game will not make you a total genius. It helps but speed counts too. I would say speed plays a big role here; you definitely have a time limit and can't waste it, as every second counts. The game is divided in 4 categories which features: Analysis, Observation, Memory and Calculation. I have found it very hard to at least get silver metals to some puzzle trivia. I think it will take me some more time practicing to do the puzzles before my brain adjust to this game and then get gold medals.

Super StarDust Portable PSP Review

Posted on 13:08 by Unknown

Super StarDust Portable is a great shooter game for the PSP, one of the best I have played this year. I think it was about time someone had the idea to remake that game of Asteroids (if anybody remembers that old arcade game nearly 30 years ago. haha). Well, I think they are very similar in the way that the whole screen is taken for blasting those sometimes huge and small asteroids and enemy ships.

Your spaceship is able to boost and move to a clear spot, and believe me this is really needed when sometimes you find yourself surrounded by many objects that can destroy your ship. You are also able to use bombs which will destroy every thing that can harm you on the whole screen, but there is certain number of these bombs you can use; they are not limitless, so use them wisely. I have gotten as far as the third stage. I still need to do much exploring and unlocking new modes of play. So far it is very entertaining and recommend it to anyone into shooting games.

Need For Speed Undercover PSP Review

Posted on 13:37 by Unknown

Need for Speed: Undercover developed by Black Box, and Published by Electronic Arts, was just released the 18 of November 2008.

What I like about this game is the really easy controls, or just maybe its because of the car (I only have one 0_o). nice turns, and quite easy to win challenges so far. haha! Another great feature is the especial effects it has. For example the nitrous feature is great and seems like you are really flying or warping through space when on. The finishes are also great as the camera will rotate to capture that photo finish. Maggie Q. the international movie star is a big part of the game and plays as lead character. cut scenes show this. Really high tech game here, I recommend it to anyone into driving games.

As you can see the video below, its very early on the game, but there are many rules on how to do some challenges. Need for Speed: Undercover will have you wanting more of the driving sim. hehe!

Shaun White Snowboarding PSP Review

Posted on 12:49 by Unknown

Shaun White Snowboarding for the PSP was recently released the 12th of November 2008 by our friends at Ubisoft. It is a real sport simulator that I still have yet to go much into it. I haven't played it much and so far i can only do just a couple of tricks.

Created together with Olympic Gold Medalist and 8 time X Games Gold Medalist Shaun White. The game seems fun as you get to compete, learn new tricks, buy them with XP points, new boards, unlock new characters and much more exiting features. Take the thrill to do your best tricks and show off on these snowy mountains haha!

Loco Roco 2

Posted on 13:02 by Unknown

Loco Roco 2 is a cute game. I like the singing even though it might seem a little kiddie like singing for most people hehe! fun nonetheless with the extra other game modes. Built up a big glob collecting those flower things and use the thunder button to make your own singing chorus, and also required to get thru some obstacles. Hehe!

Happy faces everywhere in the planet Loco Roco lives, but your mission is to help the other folks that are in need (like that guy who has that meteor fall on his head lol!).

Football Manager Handheld 2009 PSP

Posted on 16:04 by Unknown

Football Manager Handheld 2009 by Sega. Really bad, not worth the time you are willing to spend on this game. I was curious to play this, but after spending 30 to 45 minutes to figure out how to play this crappy game I gave up (All I was able to capture was this game is about soccer not football). A word of advise to anyone thinking of buying or downloading this game: DON'T. Hahaha! For me, it was not fun at all, but if anyone wants to even think about trying to play this game, and see for themselves.

WALL E PSP Game Review

Posted on 18:48 by Unknown

Wall-E
stands for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth Class. It is an adventure game that came from Pixar's Disney movie. I enjoyed the wackiness of it, but to be honest I am poor at this type of games. I have little to no interest, but does not mean it is a bad game. The graphics and humor are certainly worth something indeed. The video shows me playing a little bit of it, but doubt I will play this title anymore. I however do recommend this for those who enjoyed the movie and kids of all ages!!

Tom Clancy's EndWar PSP Review

Posted on 18:21 by Unknown
Tom Clancy's EndWar for the PSP falls in the tactics/strategy category of games. It is amazing and fun to play. Here you will have many types of units on your command including: missile launchers(ground unit) , fighter jets(air unit), submarines(water units), and a whole lot more. Terrain and unit positioning play a big role in this game. Consider also knowledge of unit's properties such a movement range and factor of defense. There is practically two faces of the game: 1. Movement phase and 2. Action phase (mostly used for attacking). I especially liked the "gain experience" feature, which allows your units to upgrade and receive star medals (up to 5) as they defeat and wipe out the enemy. Another great part of the game is the military buildings which you can use to produce units, and/or make unit repairs if they belong to you. If they don't belong to you, then you can take over the building by sending infantry to capture them (some battles are won this way too).

Overall Tom Clancy's EndWar for PSP is lots of great strategic entertainment you can really get hooked on. I personally give this game a 9 out of 10. because the only thing that bugged me I guess was the annoying static screen during simulation phase. Should have kept it clear and would have been much better. The fact that there is an extensive tutorial built-in is a great plus and sure makes it worth buying.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 PSP Review

Posted on 15:19 by Unknown
Pro Evolution Soccer 09 developed and published by Konami was just recently released (early November 2008), I got to play this game and also FIFA 2009. Both games about soccer, but different in game-play options and stuff. What I like about Pro Evolution Soccer 09 is the great details on the 3D graphics. I also love the playback feature. It is one of the best features of the game. controls are kept simple and easy for anyone to play like a pro. I just notice that for movement on this game, you have the option of choosing the directional pad (cross) or the joystick. When using the directional pad and trying to aim at the goal when close, its kinda hard. Most of my shots were really off, but using the joystick was much easier. So I do recommend using the joystick on this game as you will have more control on the goal shots and stuff.

On the video below I show my skills after just playing it for half an hour or so, haha!. Yea, I choose beginner level, so its quite easy to score here. This game brakes the language barriers as you can choose from English, French, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish. Main game modes are:

1. Match
2. Become a Legend
3. Master League
4. League
5. Cup, and More...

PSP 3000

Posted on 13:11 by Unknown
The Playstation portable (PSP) model 3000 is out in U.S. stores now. The PSP 1000 was released in the early 2005 in the U.S. Then came PSP model 2000 (slim and light) which was released on September 2007, and the PSP 1000 model got the "fat" title. Now, the PSP 3000 are stocked on shelves in U. S. stores everywhere as its realeased was late October 2008. The PSP is the first portable game console that uses Optical Disc Format, (Universal Media Disc, UMD) for storage. It is one of the best, if not the best portable gaming system in the world. The library of games for the PSP is huge, and keeps on growing, month after months.

The great new features incorporated to the PSP 3000 model is the LCD screen, much clearer and high defined than older PSP models. Also adds the built-in microphone, and expanded video out, which is a great sharing feature. Let's say you want to play your PSP games, or watch that video you like, view pictures, or music on your TV. You can actually do that and let everyone see whatever media you have on the PSP on a big screen TV.

Sony has really outdone themselves with new high top notch gadget. There is so much the PSP can do media wise, you can actually get hooked on it, and never leave home without it!!!

Monster Jam: Urban Assault PSP Review

Posted on 13:45 by Unknown
Heavy metal destruction trucks are featured here and the more demolition on those puny little cars (or whatever is in your way), the better and more points you get. haha!! Unleash havoc on city escapes or just about any type of surface. Monster Jam: Urban Assault features all time favorite trucks such as Grave digger, Scarlet Bandit (Pink color truck lol), and Maximum Destruction just to name a few. There are many options on game-play modes. Some similar but not the same. I have made the list on game play mode here:

1. Championship (a)
2. Quick Action (b)
3. Multi-player

a
---World Series
---Speedster
---Smasher
---Stuntman

b
---Race Circuit (shows video)
---Eliminator
---Head to Head
---Monster Jump
---Skill Jump
---Air Strike
---Devastator
---Freestyle
---Stadium Racing
---Trickster

There is also the Multi-player mode to challenge your PSP buddy. And last but not least is the Showroom section where you can view the movies you have unlocked. I think the game dynamics are very good. I especially love the ramps that make you go airborne. Its really cool. Monster Jam: Urban Assault is developed by Torus Games, published by Activision, and was released on October 28, 2008.

WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2009 Review

Posted on 17:27 by Unknown

WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2009, the number one wrestling franchise in the U.S, makes it big on the PSP and other consoles. Here we talk PSP only, and everyone already knows its a hot expected game release almost just at the end of 2008. I consider myself a WWE wrestling fan, of course Triple H, and Undertaker were some of my long time favorites.

What I like about this game is the variaty of game modes you can play. For example there is the "Exhibition" category and it has these type of matches: one-on-one, two-on-two, triple threat, fatal-4-way, 6 man, handicap, and royal rumble. You can also edit the roster in "My WWE" category. "Road to Wrestlemania" which I have yet to try, but only a few super stars to choose from here. "Game Modes" category includes the "career mode" (which the video shows), and "tournament modes" which opens king of the ring, beat the clock sprint, and quick play tournament matches. "Create Modes" category includes create a wrestler, moves, entrances, and more. "Wireless" for multi-player.

Overall this is a fun game, that has lots of areas to explore, I have not unlocked anything as of yet, because I just started playing the game. The moves execution controls are great, and I am just getting used to them. Fairly easy at the start, but keep getting better and harder as you move forward.

Crimsongem Saga Review

Posted on 14:43 by Unknown
Crimsongem Saga for the PSP or otherwise called Garnet Chronical in Japan is just plain text book game when it comes to Role Playing Games (RPG). My favorite part so far, has been just the battle system; plain simple yet effective. I have yet to do much exploration of the game. I am recently on the third quest which is to find ExGuard Office that is at the southeast of the village where the game actually starts.

Leveling up here is quite easy, or so it seems at the very beginning of the game. The most important thing here is to remember when you are in a place where there are monsters, make sure or at least try to get behind them and make contact, that way you will have an advantage as you will hit first, and so having the upper advantage of the battle. Besides just simple attacks (as most RPGs)there are also skills that you learn as you go on your quest.

The graphics are beautiful and the entrance movie is amazing, and one worth watching. I guess the only thing I had wished for, that would maybe have improved this game, was voice acting. Much like in Star Ocean: First Departure where all or most of the important dialog was written and also spoken. I think that made the story much understandable for SOFD. I will probably post more on this game as when I have gone further in its story. So, far I like what I am seen in this game and recommend it for RPG players of all ages!!

PSP Manhunt 2

Posted on 13:52 by Unknown
To be honest I have yet to play Manhunt 2 for PSP. I hear it's very violent and goreish 0-o. Lots of blood here, decapitations, murders, adult content, and more of the like. It's not my preferred type of game that I would go mad about playing, but yea just a little bit. This game is definately not for kids, nor do I recomend it for younsters. It's more like for those who thirst for action adventure, the rough way, and do not faint at the view of blood.

The story might seem interesting, I kinda heard what is was about. Danny Lamb (you) is an asylum inmate who has managed to scape during an electrical failure in the building. He does not remember much about his past, but gets short random memory flashbacks. He soon finds out more about himself and the involment he has with some kind of project. Well, that is how the story begins.

This is a rated "M" game for mature audience, published by Rockstar Games, Released on October 29, 2007.

Buy Manhunt 2 Here!!

King Of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga. Review

Posted on 17:56 by Unknown
Great collection of the King of Fighters series include: King of Fighters 94, 95, 96, 97, 98. It is like buying 5 games for the price of one. And what makes it more great is the challenge mode play. (you can see that on my video below) Some challenges are really easy, but some will give you a hard time. You can unlock art, and music playing and passing each challenge. This really is a must for all KOF fans out there!! More about this game here!!

Neverland Card Battles PSP Review

Posted on 17:23 by Unknown

Neverland Card Battles for PSP falls in the strategy RPG and reminds me of a game I played long ago called Magic the gathering on PSOne. There are some mayor differences though. For one, the mana is not collected in cards but it is determined by the squares you occupy on the floor grid. If you need to summon a creature, for example, a certain number of squares on the grid must belong to you, in order for you to summon that creature. You play as a Dominator(characters who hold cards for play) called Galahad, there are more dominators in the game which you must beat to keep on going with the game story. There are 3 types of cards you can get, these are:
1. Unit cards: summon characters/creatures
2. Spell cards: these are instant damage/effect cards
3. Base cards: kinda support cards

The object of the game is to defeat Hellgaia (an evil god who is trying to kill everyone in the world). I just started playing this game and the story seems that Hellgaia is the last boss to defeat. One thing that is really cool about this game is that you acquire more cards as you keep on playing, and so you can choose which ones you want on your deck(30 cards required, no more, no less) each time its your turn on the battle field you will be able to get one random card from the deck. you get a maximum of 6 playable cards per turn. If you know me, I was always the type who enjoys great art, and this cards definitely have great art too.

I really love games like this, although sometimes a battle may even take me more than an hour to win, but so much fun, I feel like I had just played for 5 minutes. The video below shows that I really had to cut a big chunk of clip to make it fit on Youtube(close to 8 minutes) I was fighting the second boss of the entire game.

This games rocks and I recommend it to everyone into strategy games, It is dam good!! ^.^

Buy NeverLand Card Battles Here
